Raspberry Moscato Punch

An easy to make wine punch that combines sinfully delicious Moscato wine, tart raspberry lemonade, and fizzy sparkling water to create a celebratory drink for all occasions!

Raspberry Moscato Punch

With springtime upon I find that we are doing more brunches, outdoor get togethers and celebratory everts.  Light drinks are the perfect accompaniment to spring occasions, and my Raspbery Moscato Punch is simple, yet elegant.

Made with Moscato wine, which is a sweeter wine with low acidity, convenient store bought raspberry lemonade, and topped off with a lime sparkling water for a little fizz.  Don't forget to garnish your drink with a few berries to make this visually pleasing.   Such a great drink for the spring and summer season, and perfect for holiday such as Easter or Mother's Day.

Enjoy!

Favorite Moscato wines:

Risata Moscato d'Asti
Vietti Moscato d'Asti Cascinetta Vietti
Innocent Bystander Pink Moscato
Stella Rosa Red Apple
Stella Rosa Moscato d'Asti

What Ingredients do I need?

  • Moscato wine - either regular or d'Asti
  • raspberry lemonade
  • sparkling water
  • raspberries
  • blueberries

Substitutions and Variations

  • A rose' wine would be nice but a little drier and not as sweet
  • Use strawberry lemonade instead of raspberry lemonade
  • Use a combination of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or kiwis for garnish

Kitchen Tips and Notes

  • Freeze your fruit garnish to keep the drink cold longer
  • Make sure to chill your wine well prior to serving
  • Increase the recipe as need, or make a picture with about 1/3 of the total picture for each ingredient

Quick and Easy Strawberry Lemonade

Quick and Easy Strawberry Lemonade: Savor the last days of summer with this DELICIOUS drink! Slice of Southern

Yum

I've been making this Quick and Easy Strawberry Lemonade all summer long and we absolutely love it!

With the Labor Day holiday and all the festivities coming up I think that this is a good time to share this recipe with you.  With a few simple ingredients you'll be sitting outside, sipping strawberry lemonade, in no time!

QUICK AND EASY STRAWBERRY LEMONADE

A pint of strawberries, your favorite jarred lemonade, and a little sugar is really all you need to make this thirst quenching drink.  It's a semi-homemade thing and there is nothing wrong with that!  Especially if you are short on time and dying of thirst.  NOTE:  you may not need any sugar if your strawberries are really ripe and sweet, as the jarred lemonade will already have sugar in it.  Our strawberries were juicy sweet and I didn't have to use any sugar, but you will need to taste test to see.

I blended the strawberries until they were a puree and added that to my bottle of lemonade.  Tasted it for sweetness and it was perfect as is.

Next thing I know, is we are sitting by the pool drinking Quick and Easy Strawberry Lemonade, listening to the birds sing, and savoring the last days of summer!  Man that's good....

Enjoy!

Quick and Easy Strawberry Lemonade

4 cups of jarred Lemonade (any brand)
1 pint of strawberries, cleaned and hulled
sugar or simple syrup (optional for sweetness)

Pour ready made lemonade in a bottle or pitcher.  In a blender puree the strawberries.  Pour in to a mason jar.  (This will keep for about 1 week in the refrigerator.)  Add about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of strawberry puree to the bottle or pitcher.  Stir and taste for sweetness.  Add sugar or simple syrup to adjust sweetness to your liking. (You may not need any sugar, so be sure to taste.)  Stir vigorously and then serve over ice.

Vanilla Kiwi Smoothie

Do you love kiwis?

The fruit...not the hunky men from New Zealand!  LOL!  Well, if you do I have a great drink for you!  Here's another healthy smoothie using the abundance of kiwis that are in season right now.  I love this fruit!

What's better than blending some tart kiwis with some creamy vanilla yogurt?  Not much...
Kiwis are a little tart so to compensate for that pucker up quality you just add a little sweetener.  You can use sugar, honey (yum! and better for you!), Splenda, or agave syrup.  This smoothie does require a little sweetening otherwise your will definitely pucker up!  It's such a pretty green color too!

Enjoy a refreshing smoothie tomorrow!

Vanilla Kiwi Smoothie

serves 2

1 6 oz container of lite vanilla yogurt
1 small or 1/2 of a medium banana
1/3 c. 2% milk

1 T honey (substitute sugar, Splenda, or agave syrup)
3 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 cup of ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender.  Blend on high to mix ingredients and crush ice.  Serve.
Makes 2 1 cup servings.
